There are lots and lots of things that are permanent about permanent weight loss.
First but not foremost, there is the weight you are staying at. Although it fluctuates, a few pounds here, a few pounds there, it stays pretty much around goal weight.
Foremost but not first are the more personal changes you made.
Suzi can now argue back. Doing so made it possible for her to be just as assertive in the weight maintenance department.
Evelyn and her husband have settled into a much better relationship. Evelyn no longer eats to feel loved.
Rasheeka faced the challenge of never having enough by being enough herself.
