You know you want to lose weight, right?
But here’s the question—do you do certain
things, act in certain ways that go directly against your desire to lose weight?
Why not find out.
First of all, write about all your reasons for
wanting to be thinner. Think about what your life would be like without the
extra weight, and without the kind of eating that you do. Picture yourself at
your goal weight, and how you would look, and even more important, how you
would feel. Even if you have doubts about your ability to actually get there,
try writing about how much you would like to. Think about what it would really
mean to you.
OK, now comes the other part.
Start with today. At the end of the day, write
down everything you did that counters your wish to lose the weight—everything
you can think of. Think about not
just how much you ate, or the fact that you ate fattening things, but take note
of other kinds of behavior too.
For example, were you too critical of yourself? Did you run to food
because you needed a reward? Did you fall into a down mood and eat to get
yourself out of it? Did you get
hopeless and think what’s the use anyway?
Think about your anti-weight loss behaviors again tomorrow, and the next day as
well.
Three days of reflecting on this will be enough
to show you if there is a discrepancy between what you want, and how you act.
Then you can set about the task of bringing what you do on a daily basis much
more in line with what you want for yourself, which is to lose the weight.

i started slim fast 3 weeks ago and have lost 12 pounds so far and in all honesty i have been naughty and had a KFC in week 2!!
Frances, if i can loose almost a stone in 3 weeks im sure someone else can too. Ive been getting off the bus 2 stops early and little things like that and it makes such a difference. Im confident enough now to put a swimmin cozzy on and get the gym to loose my last stone and 6 pounds.

I started the slimfast plan in November and have exercised twice a week. It really has payed off, I have lost a craking stone and a half...keep going everyone! x
the second day i had a shake again in the morning 170g of grapes, slimfast pretzels and chewwy bar after i had another shake then ended with oven fish and chips i did some exercises.
im planning on havin tortillas on wed would sliced chicken breast with peppers and light mayo be ok for a meal (1) whilst having the two shakes and 3 snacks?
do you have to have them in the order of 3-2-1 or can u re arrange them as your eatting the same intake?
Hi i am 43, i weigh 13.9,i am also getting married on a beach in north carolina,second wk in october,i dont want to look like a beach whale either,lol,i am wishing us both goodluck,i want a stone off.

What a stroke of luck, I bought my scales this week and thats when I discovered the horrible truth of me weighing in more than I ever have before at 13st 3. I must say I was more than a little shocked!
Anyway, my sons girlfriend came in yesterday and weighed herself. She told me that my scales were out as she had weighed herself that morning and week before on two different scales and had been 1 whole stone lighter than my scales were telling her.
Yay, my scales are exactly 1 stone heavier than they should be! I am actually now 12st 2. Yippee!!! Only 1 and a half stone to lose now xxxx :-)
ive just sarted its my first week doin ok but i was wondering on the main meal can u have veg and salad with them??? as i dont think these are calories what do others do main meal weise??
