The one thing I have learnt above all others over the last five years is that life really should not be about dieting and the diet lifestyle. I wasted a lot of my 20's and early 30's being obsessed with my weight, what I was eating and what diet I was doing next, I would wake up in the morning thinking about the scales and my breakfast and go to bed thinking about food and how big I was becoming.
But life is definitely too short for that, so for me life is really about being happy being who you really are, and the key here is 'who you really are' as so many of us, me included, aren't really sure what we are, where we are headed and what life is really about.
Now I have made some huge life changes in the past few years and even more so in the past couple of months but I am doing it with the goal of being happy being who I really am, and more so I am happy to be happy while on the journey to that goal.
If you aren't happy with something in your life then change it, you have the power, it may mean high grade misery for a while as you take on the problem and create solutions but living your life unhappy is such a waste.
It is your birth right to be happy being who you really are, you would never teach your children to put themselves down the pecking order and therefore don't accept it yourself. Let nothing and nobody stand in your way, especially yourself.
