Follow your heart. Remember this when you go off on an out of control eating spree.
If you are truly just hungry, then the stomach wants what the stomach wants. Consuming food is the answer.
But if it’s something your heart wants, needs— like more love, more appreciation, more support, more understanding, then actual food simply won’t do the trick. Food won’t love you, appreciate you, support you, or understand you.
Check out your heart at those eating times, and see if you can tell what you’re really after.
If it is a matter of the heart, then pay attention. Don’t eat your heart out. It just won’t help you feel better, not in the long run.
