Veggie-Pizza Dipping Sauce Recipe
- 1 box 26 ounces strained tomatoes (I used Pomi)
- 1/2 cup other vegetable puree (like carrot, spinach, or squash)
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
- Garnish with fresh oregano
Mix all the ingredients together and warm in the microwave. Use homemade bread sticks or store bought. With the lycopene, vitamin C, vitamin A and potassium, tomato sauce is a fabulous way to get vital nutrients in your kids. Plus, who doesn’t like a yummy and delicious bread stick!
